As I scan the pages of an online news website, I was a bit surprised to see that the police is backing up the position of the journalists in the Philippines against the Right to Reply Bill, which is authored by Sen. Aquilino Pimentel. Pretty surprising move huh

When President Arroyo visited the Marineculture park in Samal Island, Davao Del Norte today, it took her about a minute to wear the gloves and it only took her about a blink of an eye in feeding the bangus fingerlings, which is suppose to be the most awaited moment by the photojournalist and videjournalists. Just one stroke and she’s done!
Whew, it’s always like than when covering Presidential sorties in the province. It would eat most of your time on the road or waiting for the President before capturing what we call “the decisive moment” in just a fraction of second.

This is a common problem with the Manila-based news organizations. I’m wondering if they have maps inside the newsrooms. General Santos City is about two hours away from Maitum town in Sarangani province.

In every town or province, it has its own design of tricycles. did you notice that? Like in South Cotabato, the tricycle designs are almost design in most of the towns in the province. Then when you are in North Cotabato and Maguindanao areas, they also have the same designs.
