Volunter Against Crime and Corruption chair Dante Jimenez on Friday in Davao City vows to take the case of the alleged victims of rape and sexual harassment to the President and to the Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Jesus Versoza. The victims – two wives of police officers, three policewomen and police trainee—were allegedly sexually harassed by former Davao del Sur police Chief Police Senior Supt. Confusing headlines

At first look, you would assume that there’s another bombing incident in Mindanao in the regions’ section of GMA News Online. But actually, the upper headline is just the sames as the previous one. Editors could have simply marked it as update– as they always do. Otherwise, the public would assume that there was a separate bomb attack in Mindanao.

But as I went throught the entire article, the blast went off across the cathedral. The explosion killed four persons dead while 27 others were also injured. Read More »
