While the public and private schools have just entered on its second month of classes, for madaris in different parts of Mindanao or even across the country, it’s already a closing period.

On July 4, we were able to capture this closing rites of a madrasah in Barangay Cuyapon, Kabacan, North Cotabato.  We would like to thank the staff of Moro Peoples Core for facilitating us to witness this rare event.

(Kabpaminto is a Maguindanawon term for “closing rites.”)
