For more than four decades, the New Peoples Army is perhaps the longest running Maoist-inspired revolution in the world. Established in 1969, NPA is the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines. The group claims to have established more than 120 guerrilla fronts in the country.
Most of these photographs are taken inside the guerrilla base of the NPA’ sPulang Bagani Command operating in the hinterlands of Davao City.
