As a news photographer, I’m always carrying a pair of office-issued Canon DSLR cameras: one with wide angle lens and the other is with a telephoto lens.

But during slow days, I’m just using one body, a pair of lens and then a  backup Canon EOS-M, which was given by seasoned photographer Rene Lumawag.

Recently, I’ve added another camera in my arsenal: Redmi Note 5A. After retiring my three-year old Huawei Y6, which I just ‘inherited ‘ from my wife, I bought this Redmi phone from Tekpone shop at a local mall.

Why Redmi Note 5A? Well, aside from the fact that it’s the only phone that I can afford, I’m satisfied with its specs based on the reviews I’ve read.

For over a month now, I’ve been testing the limits of my lowly Redmi Note 5A.  These pictures are just resized and about six are cropped but no post-processing involved.
