Philippine Eagle Sarangani is released back to the wild in the hinterlands of Maitum, Sarangani Province on June 13. Sarangani was rescued by a farmer after it was trapped in wild and was turned over to the Philippine Eagle Foundation for rehabilitation. The rescued eagle underwent rehabilitation for one year and six months at the Philippjne Eagle Center in Davao City.

The PEF has partnered with Alsons Power Group’s Sarangani Energy Corporation and Siguil Hydro Power Corporation for the protection of Mt. Busa Key Biodiversity area in Sarangani Province, also a home of Philippine Eagle’s sub-population.
